If your like me you are always looking for more time in your day.
Here are a few ideas how to supercharge your day!
- Get up earlier. I love to get up before the rest of my family is up and about. I can get so much done. Here is some ideas to get your day started right.
-
- Drink a glass of water
- Sit quietly, take a few deep breaths, and do some stretching.
- Read something that inspires you, preferable nothing fiction.
- Journal
- Go over your day, look at your planner or calendar. Visualize how your day is going to go.
- Schedule your day. I recommend using a daily calendar to time block your day. I schedule my day every day and my week. Then when I’m completing a task I have a set amount of time to get it done and helps keep interruptions at bay. You also get a good idea of what you can and can’t get done in a day.
- Top 3, each day make a list of the top 3 things you need to get done that day. Don’t make a laundry list of absolutely everything that needs to be done in your life, you will get overwhelmed. It is much more manageable to make a list of the top 3 things you need to get done and focus in on those.
- Master To Do List, this kind of goes along with the top 3. I keep my master to do list in a specific notebook I use for my to do list. This was I feel like I am not going to forget anything and I can incorporate these items into my top 3.
- Zones, I love to clean my house by zones. Each day I have a specific zone I focus on. This helps me to not only keep up on all the house chores but to not get so overwhelmed. Again schedule girl over here, I love to have a plan and list.
- Water, I know this seems elementary but I have to mention we all need to hydrate to stay energized. I love my diet soda everyday, so bad for me I know. BUT I also love to have fruit infused water first thing every morning to start my day. I use large mason jars and fill them it up almost all the way with ice, put in a few slices of fruit (I love oranges), and drink it up with my morning vitamins. l also drink fruit infused water through out the day. It helps with energy, how you feel, and its great for your skin, hair, and nails.
- Stand Up, if you are like me and sit all day be sure to take a minute to stand up every hour and stretch. This is so helpful for fatigue.
- Power Hour, when I feel overwhelmed with house work. I give myself a power hour. I make a list of everything I want to get done, put on some music, set a timer and get to work. You will be amazed how much you can accomplish in one hour.
- Bedtime Routine, I feel like it is so important to be prepared for the following day. For me I do this during my bedtime routine. Here is what mine looks like.
-
- Diffuse a relaxing essential oil blend.
- Wash my face
- Shower
- Skin care routine

- Body lotion – I currently am using the Bath and Body Work Aromatherapy line in the scent Sleep.
- Read and Journal
- Schedule following day
- Get a good nights sleep
